Diet Soft Drinks

I had a facebook chat with a good friend of mine, Dana, about diet soft drinks. She had heard a statistic that indicated they may be detrimental to a diet.
I've noticed that I am more successful at dieting when I limit them. I like water so it isn't too hard for me. I feel sorry for the folks that don't like water though.
I plan on researching this a little more and I'll share what I find. If anyone comes across any articles about the effects of diet drinks, please share with me.
As far as my diet goes...I'm chugging along. I made it up Mount Walnut Street in Spring Hope yesterday and then tackled another big hill betweeen Food Lion and school. It is getting a little easier to push that monster stroller.
I also got an opportunity to walk with a friend before church last night. Ann is the coupon queen and I learned a lot of valuable coupon tricks on our short walk. Ann is one of those fast walkers, though and I was huffing and puffing when we were done. :)
