I was listening to a Christian radio station today and someone shared some "food for thought" that I found pretty interesting.  He said that when a Christian goes through trials and tribulations, when they are having a really tough time in their lives, they either become bitter or better.  The only difference in the two is the "I"

not a good day at dietician's

I usually go Monday, but had to take the boys to the doctor this week.  They both had ear infections.  Today was the first chance I've had to go and it was a real downer. :)

 She told me I had gained some weight, but would not tell me how much (so it must have been pretty bad).  She will tell me when I go back next Monday. 

The funny thing is that instead of making me more determined to do good this weekend, it actually makes me "feel" like going to Dairy Queen  :)

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days.  I went to our PPNC convention on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Unfortunately, Saturday night, Lowell had a severe croup episode and we had to spend the night in the ER.  He could not catch his breath and it was very scary for all of us.  He is MUCH better now and we appreciate everyone's prayers sooo much.  Other than a little cold, you would never know he had been so sick.
I have not visited my nutritionist yet this week but will post my results when I do.  I don't think it is going to be a good report :0  I have not done well this week. We will see......
